One People Commission launches new resource: Visions of Justice and Hope

A new resource by the One People Commission and South Asian Forum launches today. Visions of Justice and Hope explores one of the most contested cultural questions of our time: What does it mean to be human and a Person of Colour?

Complete with a small group study guide, Visions of Justice and Hope is inspired by the Evangelical Alliance’s report on race and offers a manageable, guided exploration of some of the key topics including; understanding racial justice, experiences of racism within the church and how churches can address racism and repair relationships.

It is a powerfully insightful, useful and encouraging resource, offering food for thought and practical ways for small groups to explore these key issues, finding understanding and resolution in an environment that is encouraged, through the guide, to garner reflection, compassion and vulnerability.

Rev Israel Olofinjana, director of One People Commissions says of the resource: “This resource will help our churches to have meaningful and relevant conversations that can lead to positive action in addressing racial injustice in the church and society.”
