Few weeks ago Israel Oluwole Olofinjana had the privilegde of speaking in one of the main plenary sessions at Oak Hill theological college. The theme of the conference was God on the Move and Israel spoke about the concept of Migrating Witnesses using the African Mission Movement as an example of Majority World mission movement in Britain. The terms diaspora or migrant church although they have wider usage and meaning has been reduced negatively to describe the mission, church and experience of people from the Majority World in Europe. Migrating Witnesses is used and preferred to say migrants are not necessarily here for benefits but come with benefits!
