In the Shadow of Faith: A Personal Reflection on Power and Scandal in Nigerian Pentecostalism by Dr Claire Ayelotan (PhD)

Many have been shocked by the BBC documentary on the late controversial prophet TB Joshua. The documentary exposes the power abuse and sexual scandal in the ministry of the TB Joshua. Many have written articles about this, but I wanted a scholarly engagement with the issues raised from an African Pentecostal to give us a nuanced perspective. I am pleased that my friend, Dr Claire Ayelotan agreed to write this short piece for us. Please do download the PDF article below.
